Description

This 7” diameter, 45 rpm, extended-play vinyl record is Mamie Van Doren “(Sings Selections from) Untamed Youth”, Prep #M1-1 ©1957.  The cardboard jacket (some dirt staining visible mostly on the back with totally solid seams and no cutout marks, stickers or writing) is VG+. The record’s playing surfaces shine like new but do exhibit light scuffing/scratches. Both sides played with full fidelity, no ticks or pops. Minimal noise between tracks. I give it a VG+ visual grade. Pretty fun record.
Its tracks are “Salamander”, “Oo Ba La Baby”, “Go, Go, Calypso!” and “Rollin’ Stone”. Eddie Cochran played guitar on these sessions, has partial songwriting credit on “Oo Ba La Baby” and acted in the film.
