Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1962 U.S. REGAL RECORDS 45 containing the ORIGINAL FIRST CUT of the soulful midtempo shuffler titled 'Played Out Playgirl' from Arthur Freeman, which was later recut in 1971 and re-released on the Astor-Arts and the Excello labels, and became a 'Northern Soul' and 'Carolina Beach Music' favorite. B-side is a deep soul ballad titled 'I Can't Understand'. It is Regal Records catalog number 660R-7257, and appears to be a RARE ITEM which has not been offered on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell. Condition of record is a real nice VG++/NM- with all original gloss and just three or four very small and light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Record plays very nicely with almost no surface noise. As shown in the accompanying image, labels have a little bit of contact wear, with no writing, tears, stickers, or any other problems. A super-rare addition to any 1960s soul 45 record collection! Winning bidder pays $4.25 insured media mail postage or actual insured priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $6.00 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. Personal checks must clear. I now accept payment via PayPal! WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the 45 if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
