THIS IS ONE OF OVER 140 RECORDS I’M OFFERING NOW....MOST OF THEM ARE LISTED AT GERMAN’S EBAY WEBSITE
Very clean condition. Although 500 copies were pressed of their first 7“, only 250 of them were born with a picture sleeve. This is the MUCH-MUCH rarer version, because it is the original one-sided picture sleeve which shows the back artwork of the cover (see scan). Yesss, some copies were only released with the back cover, glued or not glued on a plain white die-cut sleeve. You are bidding on the FIRST and BEST 7“ by ANY TROULBE from England. The A-sider ‘Yesterday Love’ is catchy powerpop with great melodies, a real charmer. This track also appears on the great POWERPEARLS #5 sampler. Clive Gregson’s voice sounds similar to the voice of Nick Watkinson of British powerpop band the JAGS. The melody-maker on the flip named ‘Nice Girls’. Original first pressing, released on private mini-label ‘Pennine’ records in 1979 (catalogue number PSS 7165). As you know, this rarity was re-released on ‘Stiff’ records with a different picture sleeve, in 1980. The original one-sided cover and the vinyl are in excellent condition (very clean) and how many times have you seen one that can be described as ‘very clean’. Airmail postage/packaging for 1-5 singles outside Germany is the same price (5,50 Euro for Europe and 9 Euro for the Rest Of The World). Postage/packaging for 1-3 singles within Germany is 2,40 Euro.
