Beatles Abbey Road EXCELLENT * NO HER MAJESTY * MISALIGNED APPLE * UK 1st Press
Abbey Road, PCS 7088, stereo, September 26, 1969. Album have full laminated cover without flaps on the back side. Covers were printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. The famous cover design done by photographer Iain Macmillan. The initial covers have the green Apple logo out of alignment with the text and shifted to the left. Condition and details below:
The sleeve is almost NM, a few tiny bits of edge/corner wear - see the close up photos - and a small amount of laminate creasing , which is expected
Very clean white inner, intact, just a little rip mark and corner crease give away its age
The labels are excellent, no marks - NM at a pinch...
The vinyl, visually excellent; there is a tiny surface scratch visible on side one; side two looks unblemished! - no impact on the superb sound (see photos!! and clip!!)
Play test was NEAR PERFECTION, a powerful, resonant audio with NO surface noise during tracks, and only a hint of crackle between some tracks or in quiet places (mainly side 2) - NO clicks, NO skips, No sticks - this is amongst the best originals I have ever heard!
