UK DARK PINK LABEL FIRST PRESSING DOUBLE VINYL LP IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL WHITE INNER SLEEVES.
There are hundreds of British blues 1960s era anthologies, but there are really only two great ones - Blue Horizon's double set 'How Blue Can We Get?' and this double album from Immediate, which features the only official recordings (although by all accounts released against their wishes) of Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton together, plus some stunning early Jeff Beck material. All the recordings have 'that analogue sound' and are pressed on delightful, thick EMI quality vinyl. These tracks turned up all over the place for years to come, but they never sounded as good as they did on this first pressing. This particular copy is the best condition one we have seen for a long time, it does not look played very much and has first matrix/first mothers on all sides and very early stampers.
