Side A 100% Played. No bad surprise
I, as most sellers, am grading records visually. However, all 45 RPM single records offered on Ebay have been fully played on Side A (or Side 1) for a precised grading and analyse. If the visual grading isn't matching the playing grade by too much, or if a serious audible defect is heard, the final grading will be lower then the initial visual with the reason(s) stated. Side B is visually graded and isn't necessarly played unless there is a known hit song on that side too. Side B (side 2) could be graded differently. I play the records using a Thorens TD-145 equipped with a Shure M-95ED cartridge. Differences in sound and/or tracking efficiency is possible depending on the turntable type being used. Our turntable is considered quite sensitive. All the 7" 45 RPM have either a paper sleeve or a hard sleeve provided (or it's original picture sleeve when it's the case). Only picture sleeves are graded.
Note that I own most of these records for over a decade and are stored unused since. I've recently started to compiled them to sell a lot of them so come and see often the newly listed records from my personal collection.


Basic information on my 45s sale selections Note that 45s single hits were made to be played. Consider a VG+ a very nice single. Our VG singles must be pleasant to hear. I stay away from sound distortion as much as possible and will not head to Ebay unless it's a very rare single. Distortion means lots of play time for a single even if it doesn't show visually. I prefer to hear a nice sounding 45 RPM single with more apparent background clicks then a quiet but distortion in sound of the music, all the way.
Grading description:

Mint: The record is as new. We voluntary don't grade mint.
NM: Stands for Near Mint and is considered a very clean record.
Visually no surface wear but may have been played few times or have been very well maintained. If our record is graded NM, it's playing almost is if it's just being unsealed. Picture sleeves shows no wear in image
EX: Record is in EXcellent condition.
An excellent record plays generally great but could have few occasional pops. No linear scratches that are audible. Almost non-existent background noise. It's a record very satisfying to play. Picture sleeves is in great general condition but may have one light defect. A NM with a name  is downgrade to EX. 
VG+: A VG+ record plays all the way with possible light background wear
A VG+ is still considered a great record. It plays well all the way with low surface noise mainly audible between tracks or on lighter songs. More frequently heard pops but not often. It's the vinyl feel! A NM with a light audible surface scratch can end up VG+. An EX with a light disk warp can end up VG+ too. Picture sleeves shows light image deterioration or a light split. A nice overall sleeve with light moisture deterioration would end up VG+.
VG: A VG record plays with more apparent background noise and some light audible pops cause by light scratches.
Record wear is more visible and audible on a VG record. Background noise is heard but can still remain discrete on louder tracks.  There's some occasional pops cause by light surface scratches but won't skip (with our equipment). 
G: Good doesn't mean bad but have general audible background noise on the play cause by wear
G is the lowest grade we have.  G grade is a record that have been played a lot and/or have not been well handle in it's long play life. Multiple light scratches caused by bad handling or excessive playtime on older/lower end equipment may have lead to this record condition. Light distortion sound may be heard occasionally on the most played tracks. Rarely skipping are encountered on my records but could happened (and is mentioned) on this grade.

Selling lower then G grade would be only on rare hard to find LP or when there's another good benefit like a nice jacket or inner sleeve for example. *Heat damage: Heat damage is either caused at the pressing or by bad storage (behind radiator or sun reflection possibly). Its a damage that makes the needle move from right to left at a specific disk area, on the begging of the record. Consequence, a noise in the sound is heard at every turns which is fading as it goes. It is generally affects from 20% to 30% of the record's play length. On worst case, it can make the needle skips (with lightweight cartridges) and first track could possibly be considered partially or completely unplayable. In most encountered record with that defect, it played all the way (with our equipment) but with the noise mentioned for the length (in %) specified.

*Warp: Record warp is either caused at the pressing or by bad storage (behind radiator or sun reflection possibly). This anomaly makes the needle move up and down sinuously. There are many types of warp but on worst cases, the warp is sharp enough to make the needle jump (with lightweight cartridge). Unlike heat damages, a light warp have generally no consequences on the playback sound besides adding subsonic frequencies to the audio which is almost unnoticeable.                                                                                                                          Shipping information
At the moment, we're shipping in Canada and USA only. We found that low cost shipping to international is too slow and requires a too expensive shipping rate for faster shipping. Combined LP shipping is welcome and you must contact us prior to conclude sale. Buyer is responsible to any applied custom fees. I haven't heard of any custom fees required from used records yet.
