IMPOSSIBLY RARE as far as I know only known copy original US 7" acetate that features two unissued recordings. "Words" is a storming northern soul dancer. This is the same Sandra Phillips that did "World Without Sunshine" and "You Succeeded" on Broadway and "I Wish I Had Known" on Okeh. I suspect that the two unissued recordings on this acetate were made between her Okeh release in 1968 and prior to the LP she recorded with Swamp Dogg ("Too Many People In One Bed") on the Canyon label from 1970.

All of the 7" acetates I have up for grabs this week originally came directly from the family of Don French, he was an A&R guy and also did arrangements/production for Fairmount, Michelle, Hallmark, Panic, Spring, IX Chains etc. I've had these acetates since 2006, but it's time to let them go now.

Vinyl condition: read -> (extremely hard to grade - see pictures and listen to soundclips! - only some light hairlines, there are a few tiny spots of lacquer flaking on the "Words" side, it plays great though apart from a couple of loud clicks on mainly the intro. the lacquer on the "Heaven Must Be Like This" side is however very fragile and has started to flake heavily and has got several places where the stylus sticks or skips, listen!)

I have not made any attempts to clean these acetates, I leave that to the buyer.
