Housed in a colour gatefold picture sleeve with a collage of photos from the tour inside, complete with original  inners - VERY hard to find on this format! PCSD147)

This is a stunning,Mint DOUBLE LP that has amazing minimal signs of use, it is quite probable that these vinyls have only ever been played once or twice if that! The whole surface of the discs have a lovely clean shiny appearance, displaying a pure deep gloss that can only be achieved on barely handled records. A close inspection under strong light reveals nothing other than 2 of the the most beautiful condition vinyls. The labels are clean and the spindle areas have virtually no wear whatsoever, there are absolutely no traces that these records have ever been played. The high definition

crystal clear sound that only comes from brand new records.

COVER TYPE

This is a fantastically well looked after, heavy duty double sleeve it has to be given a grade of Near Mint. The sleeve displays no un-splitting and remains fully intact. The artwork still looks sensational and has not been defaced with any writing or sticker removal, this is an exceptionally well cared for sleeve. The edges are all un-scuffed and the spine has remained in perfect mint condition,

the original inner sleeves are also in mint condition 

Paul Is Live is a live album by Paul McCartney released in 1993 during his New World Tour in support of Off the Ground.

The album's title and cover parody the infamous "Paul is dead" rumours that arose in 1969 after the release of The Beatles' last recorded album, Abbey Road:

The infamous "281F" on the cover plate (purportedly saying that Paul would have been 28 had he lived) was changed to "51IS" (indicating his age at the time).

Paul appears with his shoes on (mirroring how he had appeared with the shoes off, like dead bodies buried in the United Kingdom).

He is stepping with his left foot (in the original cover, Paul was stepping with his right foot, instead of the left like the other three Beatles; this lack of synchronism was perceived as another eyecatch to the hoax).

Paul holds the dog's leash in his left hand (since Paul is a lefty, many thought that another clue of the "dead Paul" from Abbey Road was the cigarette he held in his right hand).

Also featured on the album cover, being walked on the leash by Paul, is Arrow, one of the offspring of Martha, the sheepdog Paul claimed was the subject of the song "Martha My Dear". The cover photo is from the Abbey Road cover photoshoot by photographer Iain Macmillan. There are differences between this and the photograph used for the Abbey Road cover, most notably the taxi on the right present in the Abbey Road cover photograph does not feature here. The retouching was done by CGI artist Erwin Keustermans by erasing the Beatles and putting in Paul and the dog, taken from 35 mm pictures by Linda McCartney.
