You are bidding on a seldom seen MONO copy of the Doors "Waiting for the Sun" LP.
EKL 4024. You know the tunes on the vinyl.
This is the Original first pressing on Tan label on elektra label. US Release is the Rare Gems.
You just don't see this LP come up for sale or auction..that's how rare this one is. Pressed # 500-1000 Copies?
This LP is rare in any condition. So, here it is....
I just wish the condition was lot better.....Am grading this Very conservatively from collectors point of view.
Jacket is VG condition on the outside with ring wear, marks (no writing), and spine wear, however, does not look that bad.
Inside is Unipak design gatefold. and looks much better than the outside.
And as for vinyl, plays all songs without any skips, just minor noises (not all the songs). I would rate this VG+.
Plays lots better than it looks. Could use a good vinyl cleaning...would look much better and sound better also.
Will start low bid price and lets see where this goes.
