Here we have a fabulous copy of the rare 1964 STEREO pressing The Beatles album "Songs From The Film A Hard Day's Night". The tracks are: A Hard Day's Night, I Should Have Known Better, If I Fell, I'm Happy Just To Dance With You, And I Love Her, Tell Me Why, Can't Buy Me Love, Any Time At All, I'll Cry Instead, Things We Said Today, When I Get Home, You Can't Do That, I'll Be Back..
The matrix numbers are: YEX 126-1 and YEX 127-1. The Mothers and stampers are on side 1 : OLand on side 2 : 2, AO.
The label states "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD", and "SOLD IN UK....".
The record vinyl is in fabulous condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has, only visible under really strong light, the very very slightest lightest wispy hairline marks only. These are really really light. They are the sort caused by removing the record from the inner bag. Without strong light the vinyl looks mint. The record has not one what I would call a surface mark. The vinyl is really fabulous. I would describe this as a VERY strong Excellent +++++to NEAR MINT or perhaps better.
The labels are fantastic. They are near mint. Even under strong light only side 2 shows three everso light spindle marks. The spindle holes look brand new. No damage, scuffs etc at all. Both labels have no writing or marks of any kind.
The laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover is also in superb excellent ++++ condition. On the back bottom right corner it states "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending. No rips, splits or tears. No damage to the spine. No crushing of the spine. The opening edges are perfect. No freying at all. No laminate lifting or peeling and no handling marks. There are just two very slight creases on the bottom corners. Really nothing bad.
Really a superb example of this fabulous rare STEREO Beatles album.
