lp sammy rimington ,kid thomas, sinclair, bissonnette, with easy riders jazz band . jazz crusade 2007 limited very rare original 1965 . 500 copies in the world , productor big bill bissonnette (the king of trombone. )
Musicians: big jim robinson trb, kid thomas tp, sammy rimington clt, clar, alto sax, , mouldy dick mc carthy, string bass, dick griffith , bjo.capt john handy alto sax,sammy penn drums. lp the music inclosed herein was recorded on the evening of december 3/1965, at a concert presented by the connecticut traditional jazz club at the moose hall in stamford, connecticut usa. the band was composed of four negro musicians from new orleans and four white musicians from connecticut.the music they played was the music of new orleans . the four new orleans musicians were there when the music was born. the four connecticut musicians have assimillated the music through phonograph records. they blended so well on the evening of december 3 rd that it takes a highly skilled ear to determine who are the originators and who are the assimilators.
