Description

The Doors' 3rd album, 'Waiting For The Sun' was initially released in the summer of 1968 and ended up as their biggest selling album up to that point in their career.  In 1998, DCC Compact Classics released an audiophile pressing (LPZ-2049) mastered by the highly regarded Steve Hoffman.  It is the best version I've ever heard.  The bass and keyboards in particular have never sounded so defined, warm, and clear as on this pressing. 
Condition: Brand New/Sealed ....start of a seam split at top and bottom edge.  
 Please Note:  This title was released by DCC as a limited and numbered edition.  However,  there is no gold label affixed to the back of the gatefold jacket with a limited edition number.  I've never seen this before. This could indicate among other things, that this particular copy was pressed BEFORE the initial pressing run and was intended for promotional use.
