Description

For sale is a splendid, still sealed first pressing of Bobby Timmons lp "The Soul Man!." on the Pestige label, PR 7465.
Fresh to the market from the estate of a Virginia DJ who ran a radio station from his basement in the 1960s. Like Noah, he collected two of every record that was sent to him, one he kept sealed while the other was used for playing. This still sealed example in nearly 60 years old and still waiting to be played for the first time. Please see my other listings for more extraordinary lps from the same collection.
