I WILL NEVER RELIST THIS ITEM i am not a big seller of lps but i am unloading a few
but if they dont go after 1 or 2 trys at the most i am keeping them 4 ever!
This is one of the best quality Live LPs available from THE MAGIC BAND!!! I must have collected all known Studio & Live Albums over the years, plus probably a similar amount from Zappa & The Mothers (who as most people know recorded almost all of his shows from the late '60s onwards with his Mobile Recording Studio..) Beefheart never had that luxury but on the last Tour in 1980/81 many shows were recorded & I don't think I've heard BETTER SOUND on any other Live Vinyl LP!!! It's recorded from the LA.s "Country Club" on January 29, 1981 two days before the last EVER live concert and by this time The Magic Band were as tight as on any of their LPs. This De-Luxe 2 LP Set is long DELETED & much sought after and has some really fine versions of some of my favorite Beefheart tunes. The last two tracks are two hard to find tracks, added as a bonus. Don't let this FANTASTIC Set pass you by as you probably won't find a better cover or vinyl!!!! (VINYL is MINT!!!)

Recorded live at The Country Club, Reseda, California on 29th January, 1981 (apart from the last two tunes which are taken from rare singles).
An excellent quality recording. There was talk about this show having been filmed!!
This is a US Original Live LP with a Deluxe Colour Cover featuring a Clear Spot period 'top hat' photo and Van Vliet drawing on the front, a late 70s promo shot of Don on the back, and has blue/white labels.
