Selling some of my jazz LPs!
A very swingin’ session from the tenor duo. An above-average date with a four-sax frontline including locals Jackie Sharp and Pete King (listed as also playing tenor as well as alto!) Most LPs on WRC were reissues but I believe this was an original issue on the label.
The record is visually excellent. It plays fine with some crackles, mainly audible on one quieter track, but not obtrusive and the music cuts through fine.
