Dark imaged laminated gloss thick sleeve with original NZ Warner/Reprise inners.
3 Colour labels. Censored songs. Different track.
No booklet released with this title.
A rare unique stand alone release.
The track listing coincides with the USA Bizarre white label promo first pressing.
To my knowledge no other pressings in the world have this variation.
Side One Track Three has '400 Years of the Year' instead of 'Nine Types of Industrial Pollution'
Also, 2 songs have been censored .
Side 1 Track 2 ‘The Voice of The Cheese’ has the line ‘And, um, I actually fucked up in Europe’ removed.
Side 2 Track 2 ‘Our Bizarre Relationship’ has been shortened nearly as much as the Australian version. Two sections were removed. ‘Asking me, What the fuck that chick was doing in your bed?’, And I’d walk in and you wouldn’t be with the same one that you were in the night before‘ 'He didn’t see how anyone could make it that insisted on saying fuck on stage’
The front/back sleeve look like a photo just taken off the USA cover as with other Aussie/NZ releases of the period but much darker.
Bought in the late 70's. Have never seen another but of course there are more.
Was there a reissue during the mid 70's along with other FZ NZ titles of the day?
Maybe as with NZ Verves there appears to be only one release of each.
Three Sides under strong light are near Mint with maybe a few insignificant hairlines.
Side(2) has some serious marks(see pics) that will sound. Clean labels.
Sleeve has some small creases and a few tiny marks, still lots of gloss.
A little wear on the edges. Solid spine.
Inside gatefold is clean with very minimal ring/cover wear.
Sorry Tale. 10 year ago I went to play this for the first time. To determine Censorship, Fidelity and Quality. While admiring the really nice labels I dropped it, tried to catch it but actually caused it hit another surface. Have handled ten's of 1000's of vinyl over 40 years, it had to be this one I dropped and not Abba's Greatest Hits.
