Description
Yes's 1971 masterpiece The Yes Album on Atlantic Records UK plum label A1 B/1 authentic first pressing.
One word can describe this album….Stunning!. From start to finish.
"Yours Is No Disgrace" rocks, while "Starship Trooper" takes you on a mind expanding journey and "I've Seen All Good People" starts off ("Your Move") nice and ethereal and then goes into a rollicking rocker with Chris Squires "All Good People" And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the most overlooked song on the record and my personal favorite "Perpetual Change" which goes off in different directions and comes back to a brilliant cohesive coda.
This was Steve Howe's first album with Yes and I am not taking nothing away from Peter Banks, but Steve's guitar work is brilliant on this record and he (his sound and technique and depth) was the missing piece of what would come to define the sound of Yes.
If you’re not familiar with the sound of British pressings..Become..This record sounds phenomenal.
Condition: The record is in Excellent+condition there are a few marks and some sleeve removal marks nothing deep. or earth shattering. Like most records there some low level static here and there and and some crackle nothing abnormal...This is a very nice copy of a classic record and a must have.
The gatefold record cover is in Excellent- there is some wear nothing serious (see scans).
I do combine shipping.
I've been collecting records for over 54 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
