Description
XTC "Science Friction" UK 7" withdrawn with PS. Here it is got to be the rarest UK punk single ever made, ive seen more copies of the Pistols "God Save The Queen" On A&M than this.Not sure how many copies were made but going on the amount that have been offered for sale must be less than 50. Planned for release in 1977 but for some reason withdrawn, a few made out but these came without picture sleeeves these are still rare but are only worth approx £50 ,but with the addition of the withdrawn sleeve who knows??Please dont cofuse this with the common 12" issue this is the 7" single 45 rpm with picture sleeve. Some detail about the record, the catalogue number is VS 188 comes on the blue virgin label. Matrix side 1 is VS 188 A1 ,side 2 VS 188 B-1 machine stamped has the raised serrated rim around the label.The sleeve is paper and has the delga press limited on the top flipback and lists the title on the rear of the sleeve as XTC3DSINGLE under the 3D pic of the band.The front of the sleeve is plain with the red and green 3D graphics see pics i have supersized for greater detail. Condition sleeve is Ex+ to near mint lovely and clean no spits or tears stunning condition considering its fragile nature,vinyl and labels are near mint stunning with no spindle wear at all.
