Up for auction with NO reserve is a very, very rare and hard to find 3 record set collection of Woody Guthrie om ASCH records from the 1940's era on 78RPM vinyl. The records themselves are in good condition with minor scratches and scuffs. The labels are in excellent condition as is the cardboard album that holds the records. The binder is excellecnt and the paper inserts that hold each record are excellent. The number of the set is ASCH A347 and it is called "Songs By Woody Guthrie". Extremely rare and very hard to find so please consider this when making your bids. The set is sold as is as i do not have a turntable with a 78 speed to try them out. The songs included on these records are as follows:

  1. Talking Sailor
  2. Coolee Dam
  3. N.Y.Town
  4. Jesus Christ
  5. Ranger's Command
  6. Gypsy Davy

All the lyrics to each song are printed inside of the back cover along with some notes by John Steinbeck about Woody. Inside the front cover are notes written by Woody himself about each song he wrote on this set of records.

This is a MUST HAVE for the Woody Guthrie collector be it to play, record or just display in your home!!

Please note there is a little musty odor to the set as it has been in a cellar for many years however there is no water damage or moisture damage whatsoever!!
