1969 UK 1-EMI-BOX LABEL *STEREO* LP
Pressed in late 1969, this later stereo pressing is on the then newly designed '1-EMI-Box' EMI/Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels carry the 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' & 'Made in Gt. Britain' rim texts.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2 (the same as the 1963 1st pressing)
Stamper codes: 3,5/OA & 2/MM
Disc weight: 144g

An immaculate pair which show no spindle marks to either centre hole.
Visual: 1. EXCELLENT 2. EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces of this fine copy retain all of thier 'as new' deep gloss shines with the only major blemish being a 5mm scratch on track 4 of side 1. Strong daylight reveals a few harmless hairlines and closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen light highlights nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine.
Play: 1. EXCELLENT 2. EXCELLENT +
This barely, if ever played copy sounds perfectly clean & clear throughout with no traces of any groovewear or background noise on or between any track. I have downgraded side 1 from EX+ due to the aformentioned scratch causing 4 soft 'pops' on 'Don't Bother Me' but there are no other audible faults or distractions elsewhere

VERY GOOD
A bright, clean & gloss high-gloss front panel with just a single 'thumbnail' & slight storage rubbing to the laminate but no other significant wear. There is minor shelfwear bruise the lower left corner but both opening edges are fully intact with no tears or feathering. The rear panel has a few faint marks from storage but no major blemishes or any writing. There is a small missing section of flipback to the lower right corner but all others are undamaged. Both seams & the perfectly worded spine are unstressed and undamaged.

Clean & flat with minor storagewear, but no writing, tears or splits.
