CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A pristine pair with just two single faint spindle marks around the side 2 center hole, but none whatsoever on 1. There is a small scuff on the side 2 label in the 4 o'clock position but, as you can see, no other blemishes or wear.
Visual: MINT
Immaculate, 'as new' deep-gloss surface which are totally unmarked & unblemished in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my unforgiving powerful halogen desk lamp reveals absolutely no surface marks or wear whatsoever - not even any wispy paper hairlines. To top it all, both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no traces of any dishing or warping. You won't find a better copy.
Play: NEAR MINT
This barely played copy of a seldom see matrix has clearly received just one or two plays and has been carefully and correctly stored these past 47 years. Every track plays cleanly & clearly with no trace of any groove or play wear distortion on any track. The only audible blemishes uncovered by my single play-check was some faint 'swishing' on a few of the bands on side 1, which is an issue on all copies of this cutting I have ever heard. However, it certainly does not spoil the listening experience of this wonderful copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A respectable example of this easily blemished cover which displays a striking clean & unyellowed front panel image. There is just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkles (on Ringo's head') and a hint of storage rubbing but no other significant signs of wear. There is a small bruise to the upper left corner but both opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel displays several light age-related blemishes to the rear panel but no major marks or any writing or missing paper. The flipback edges are a little dirty but al are intact, as are both seams and fully worded spine.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with slight age-toning but certainly no writing, tears or seam splits.
