THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
This German 1st pressing of their 1st Odeon LP dates from 1963 on the white, red & gold Odeon label: STO 83568
Both labels have rim texts which begins 'Alle Rechte...'
This pressing contains the 'hi-hat' count-in to 'All My Loving' which was trimmed off the UK release
Matrix numbers: YEX 110-1 & YEX 111-1
This '-1' cutting was not used in the UK where 1st stereo pressings carried the -2/-2 cut
Vinyl weight: 152g
Housed within a front laminated German printed cover complete with original Odeon advertising inner-sleeve

Both are clean & unworn with no noticeable spindle wear to either label.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine factory-fresh playing surfaces which are appear 'as new' in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a 1cm hairline scratch on the final track of side 1 (this is visible in the image of the side 1 matrix number further above in this listing). The whole of side 2 plays without fault.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This barely played copy sound perfectly clean, warm & clear in both channels with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion anywhere. My playcheck detected some audible clicks towards the end of 'Please Mr Postman' due to the aforementioned scratch.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A fine example which retains a sparkling high-gloss finish to its front panel with only minimal traces of storage and no creases or wrinkles of any kind. There is some damage to the 'stereo' sticker from attempted removal. There is also a tiny bruise to the lower left corner but no damage to either opening edge.
The rear panel is extremely clean and white with a hint of toning around the edges and a 9cm strip of missing paper running down the upper part of spine area, but no writing or any other blemishes.
Both seams are perfectly smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean & perfectly worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -
Clean & flat with traces of the original owner's name stamp together with a few light storage wrinkles, but no splits to any seam.
