10th Anniversary "Collector’s Edition" vinyl release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording!

Let me start by saying I am not an album flipper. All records I sell are from my personal collection and I am selling it because a divorce, the pandemic and some boredom related cleaning and organizing has pushed me to part ways with things. I am not a vinyl expert, but I do enjoy the experience of listening to my favorite albums on vinyl.

This vinyl is in great condition (my opinion, not an official rating system) and was only played a couple times. I played it again today and it played perfectly with no scratches or issues. As you’ll seen in the pictures, which were taken by me today, the jacket is in good condition with shelf wear and a small bend in the thin white part of the die-cut gatefold. If you would like to see more angles, let me know and I can send. I actually took 30 pictures total. I’m a non-smoker with no children and kept this in my living room with my other vinyl. I am meticulous with my collection and handle my vinyl with care. Fingers have never touched the surface of any of my records.

Note: There are several different versions of the Wicked soundtrack out there. This one is the B0019365-01 10th Anniversary" Collector’s Edition" which is extremely rare. The fold-out map is an amazing feature, though I have never actually full extended it. The farthest I got is what you see in the pictures.  This record lists at $499 and has a median sales price of $325 so I am listing at $299. I feel that given the limited number of plays, and the perfect condition of the map, this might be worth a bit more, but I’m looking to keep this fair on both sides and want to find this a home where it is appreciated.  

Also, some people have said all pressings of this album skip. I played the entire album today without any skipping issues, but did notice surface noise / popping on a couple tracks. I have these posted to YouTube and can send you direct links upon request (eBay does not allow YouTube links in postings or I’d post here). For example, I hear some popping on “As Long As You're Mine” which is my favorite song. Didn’t detract from the listening experience for me, but is something to be aware of. The real reason to buy this edition is the awesome pop-out map. As mentioned above, I have never fully opened it as I was concerned about damaging it. It is awesome though and the reason I bought this edition as my collector item.

As you probably know, buying vinyl is all about the packaging and this will come very well packaged for you. So you can buy with confidence, know that I use the Whiplash Mailer which is considered by many to be the best way to ship vinyl. Take note of this Whiplash box in the pictures as well as how it will be packed. The vinyl itself will be taken out of the jacket and placed on top of the jacket, both inside a polyethylene cover. That will be placed between foam sheets with cardboard record stiffeners placed on both sides to make sure this is totally secure and does not shift during shipping. Shipping the vinyl inside the jacket can result in the record itself damaging the jacket. That will not happen here.
