Description

I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.

This is a copy of the  LP Who Will Save The World ? - The Mighty Groundhogs,  UK first pressing from 1972 on United Artists UAG 29237.

The stamped matrix no.s are  UAG 29237  A - 1U  and   UAG 29137  B - 1U

The vinyl is in Near Mint condition no noticeable scuffs or scratches There is nothing that is audible or affects play.The labels are spotless with no stickers, writing, or stains. There are no spindle marks.

The matt gatefold cover, printed by Garrod And Lofthouse Ltd. and illustrated by Neal Adams (of DC Comics fame) is in Near Mint condition. There is no writing, shelf wear, stickers, tears, stains splits or creases. The cardboard is as crisp and clean as when it first left the printers. I can find no faults at all. It looks and feels new.

The original "Sunset To Be Sure" U.A. advertising inner sleeve  is also in Near Mint condition.

In summary

, a perfect "store bought" condition copy of a 40 year old record.  Ideal Xmas present for an old British blues fan  or DC comic book fan.

Comes from a smoke free home.
