Description

Walter Steding and the Dragon People - The Joke b/w Chase the Dragon - signed by Steding / Earhole Productions, WS4000, 1980 / EX/VG
A late arrival from the Frederic Vigneron collection: a copy of Steding's very rare 12" signed by Steding and inscribed to Frederic.  The label, Earhole Productions, and cover art (though uncredited) were the work of Steding's benefactor Andy Warhol.  Chris Stein, Blondie, etc., produced the record.  Frederic knew Warhol well enough and was, for a time, a devotee of the new wave, downtown NYC scene.  Steding's inscription is accompanied by a set of "Ha Ha's" around the title and bears a correction (he initially placed a "k" at the end of "Frederic").  A very decent copy of a rarity and almost never encountered with a signature.
