Description
Offered here is a GREAT copy of the rarest of the three Wimple Winch 45s to find- excluding 'that' mispressing, of course. All three of their singles sold really poorly upon release, but this one seems to turn up far less often than the other two- especially in this condition!
It grades a nice EX-, with nr perfect audio, including nr silent run-in grooves, with only light surface marks that don't affect the play- which is astounding- and puts all the dodgy bootleg comps and even the bam caruso album to shame. It's obviously not seen much action, and to be honest, since I bought it about five years ago, I've maybe spun it about 5 times. If it had been a dodgy VG- or something, I'd have taken it everywhere I dj-ed, because it's a pounding mod dancer with a great weird guitar solo and stomping chorus, but it's just too clean for me to feel comfortable slinging it about, and I'm more of a fan than a collector, so it's mostly stayed in the box.
One nice thing to note about this copy is that the labels are pretty much the same way up on both sides...anal I know, but I think that's kinda neat! ;) - oh, and there is a biro initial or something on the b-side label- you can't quite see it in the picture, but it's there, and not that much of a big deal in person either
