Description
Rarity of rarities, this is PETER CHRISOPHERSON's (of Coil / Throbbing Gristle) personal copy of the Industrial Records test pressing of the William S. Burrious album of cut ups and tape experiments "Nothing Here Now But the Recordings." I purchased this from Liam Thomas, a longtime associate of Peter Christopherson who was charged with the task of selling Sleazy's stuff when he moved to Thailand. Peter died some months later, and although I would love to keep this incredible recording which is also a historical document, I am forced to sell it now to raise funds for my new child.
Condition: Mint / VG+ (extremely clean vinyl, probably never played; very good sleeve has light wear -- it is a plain white sleeve with "Nothing Here Now But the Recordings. Test Pressings" written in ink in what I am told is Peter Christopherson's handwriting. LP labels have similar notations in same handwriting (see photos). Comes with a Coil "persistence is all" bookmark and a one-sheet advertisement for the book "England's Hiddne Reverse."
