Description

Up for auction is a vintage something for a kid from the Talking Book Corporation.  Simply described as a cutout of an African American guy with a slice of watermelon that has a record attached to it.  The cutout is on thick rigid cardboard (for lack of a better word).   This particular piece is entitled "Watermelon Coon" and has the story on the back.  Measures about 8 inches vertical and 10 1/4 inches across.  These were measured at the tallest and widest places on the cutout..This is the last of the "Talking Book" items I have and my sincerest thanks and appreciation to those who have participated in these auctions.  I have never seen anything like this before, so if there are any questions, I will do my best to answer them..I do not end auctions early. .......paper has edge/corner wear, age staining and yellowing/toning from time...
