WILL AND JAMES RAGAR Will-James Duo folk psych
Killer ultralight 1980 album from these Texan brothers. Smart, cool sound that sounds wimpy at first and then hooks you with beautiful harmonies and songwriting and grows from there. Tracks like 'Louisiana Fall' are hard to beat, and so is the impossible to reproduce faint pencil illustration cover. Highest recommendation for genre fans. This EX/EX copy has light foxing and a slight lip on disc that affects the first 10 or so rotations on side two. Also see my other auctions for the extremely rare 7" single by these guys, which features two tracks not on this album. I only use five strict, visual grades: G / VG / VG+ / EX / NM. My VG+ beats most sellers' VG+++. Domestic shipping for one LP is $4 media mail or $7.50 priority; airmail to Canada or Mexico $7; airmail to Europe $13, to the rest of the world $14.
