Up for bids are 2 Vogue picture records, 78rpm. These were made by sandwiching the colorful artwork between a piece of aluminum and a clear vinyl coating, and then stamping them with the record grooves. 74 different titles were produced by Sav-Way of Detroit between May, 1946 and August, 1947. But the novelty of picture records wore off, and Sav-Way went bankrupt after a little over a year. Very collectible today because of the very good graphics ( sometimes a little risque ); and the fact that they made only 74 different titles, which makes it possible for collectors to find all of the records. These 2 records are numbered : R-724 and R-735 ( pictures show titles on all 4 sides ). Some scuffs and surface noise typical of most 78rpm records. Both play loud and clear with no skips or jumps ----- also no chips or cracks. Low starting price with no reserve. Sales to US 50 states only. No foreign bids.
