Description
Amazing original 1982 box set from France, on the L'Invitation Au Suicide label, which commissioned Gavin Friday and the Virgin Prunes to create a work dealing with the concept of insanity.
Contains two 10" records + 5 art and lyric booklets. The first disc, consisting of seven songs, functioned as a soundtrack to the booklets. The second disc is a live recording of Virgin Prunes at the Rex Club in Paris in June 1982.
The booklets feature works by D'annunzio, Ken Russell, Sandro Bergamo, Huysmans, G. Bataille, Turmel, Philip K. Dick etc.
Condition as seen in photos. Box has some creasing on left side, and some general light wear but is firm and stable. Vinyl and inserts are in excellent condition.
