Description

Up for auction, a very nice little EP on the UK RCA label entitled "Congo Rhythm." It is cat. # 7EN 101, part of the Loningisa Series. The record features two songs by Franco with the O.K. Jazz Orchestra on side A ("Mousica tellama" and "Bolingo Ekoma Niongo?") and two on side B by Vicky with the O.K. Jazz Orchestra ("Ah bolinga pasi" and "Nakolela mama azonga"). The vinyl is very clean, m- condition with only a few minimal paper scuffs and full original gloss. Each side contains about six minutes of music, so the record plays with a little background noise, but overall a very nice listening experience as you can hear in this sound sample. The pop-out center is intact as you can see from the scan and the label is pristine. The picture sleeve is also in excellent condition, very colorful with original gloss and only some very minor wear to the top corners. Someone has written "NH 2/62" in ball point pen on the top r-hand corner of back cover, very small... I'm not sure when this was made but it sounds like early '60s to me.
