Description

"Vogue the Picture Album" by Sav-Way Industries Detroit, Michigan. This 10", 78 RPM album #R740 has "Rhumba Lessons No. 2 by Paul Shahin on one side and "I Dreamed About You Last Night" by Dick LaSalle and his Orchestra on the other. The artist is M. Kanouse.
The album is in very good condition ~ no chips, warping or cracks however I have no turntable to see if it plays without skipping.


The colors are amazing on these old albums...hard to believe they never really took off!!


"Vogue picture records were produced by Sav-Way Industries of Detroit, Michigan. The first 10-inch Vogue picture record (catalog number R707) was released to the public in May 1946. Production ceased less than a year later in April 1947, with Sav-Way entering into receivership in August 1947. During this time, approximately seventy-four different 10-inch Vogue picture records were released."
