Description
Bidding lot consists of a collection of 9 vintage Bulgarian and Greek instrumental band and dance music 78 RPM records. One might consider this music to be traditional, folk dance music. Stored in a vintage RCA "Great Musical Masterpieces" record storage album measuring 12 inches by 10-1/2 inches by 1-1/2 inches. The label on one side of all 9 records is shown in the photographs. Produced around 1940. Studios include Columbia, Elinden and Makedonia. Artists include Gus Gadinis Orchestra (Gadinis played clarinet), Elia E. Kalkoff Orchestra and Kosta Orchestra (Gary, Indiana).
Based on Goldmine Record Grading Standard, I rate these visually as "Good". I played a couple at 45 RPM (I don't have a turntable that will play at 78 RPM), and there is quite a bit of surface noise, but no skipping on the two I played. No original sleeves. Records have been stored in a vintage record storage album that is in serviceable condition with front cover slightly loose at binding rough edges to covers. See photos for condition.
