Description
Extremely rare 1st press edition of this legendary album on Misanthropy (AMAZON 002)/Cymophane Productions (EYE 001). Vinyl in good condition, the sleeve is in extremely good condition !
Det som engang var (in Norwegian for What Once Was) is the third release by the Norwegian black metal artist B#rzum. It was recorded in April 1992 and released in August 1993 through Burz#m's own label, Cymophane.
The album was initially titled På svarte troner (Norwegian for On Black Thrones) but was retitled before its release. It should also be noted that the song "Det som en gang var", with a slightly different spelling, would not appear until the next album, Hvis lyset tar oss. The album cover is inspired by a Dungeons & Dragons (1st edition) module called The Temple of Elemental Evil. At the bottom of the artwork is a depiction of the "reaper" and the tree shown on B#rzum's first album.
This is the first ORIGINAL pressing from Cymophane/Misanthropy. However, poster is lost somewhere,if found, it 'll be mailed to the winning bidder at no cost for him !!!
