Description

An original Warners UK copy from 1973 on Burbank labels. Matrix A4/B3. This copy will come from the period about 5 years after 1st release. The early copies in excellent condition are hellishly difficult to find and can run into big $$$. So, for the average enthusiast who cares about this title and wants excellent preservation this copy makes for an EXCELLENT COMPROMISE. The vinyl is from '73 with the floating 'V' below the word 'Stereo'. The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse. Remember this is all original analogue chain no digital shenanigans. We have the correct generic white inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Absolutely superb looking copy which has seen only the lightest use. Very nice lustre still evident and hardly any surface signs of use. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. If you really care about this title well worth tracking down a mega clean copy - you will really get to hear the class in this release! The audio is closing in on faultless and remember....that's from a 50 year old record which is a VERY popular title. AND it is almost entirely acoustic. You can hear deep deep into the mix and pick out every last percussive moment. So, this is no average copy...this is a total BELTER. Super quiet into those very lowkey acoustic guitar twangs. Even 'Madame George' the ultra fussy track plays superb...at worst a couple of minor crackles early in the track...One isolated solitary tick in 'Balerinna'. Really really good. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) Not quite up to the standard of the vinyl, but still pretty damn tidy. Original copies of this title from the early seventies are very often found in pretty lack lustre condition. I'm pleased to report this copy is looking very well cared for. Check out that front - close to perfect. Lovely shiny and very flat without creasing. The rear has avoided the worst of the ageing process which often makes its presence felt on this title. Lightest evidence at extremities but clean and tidy. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No spits.
