Van Dyke Parks Rare White Label Promo LP w/all inserts 1972 Warner Bros. BS 2589
Vinyl and labels are in beautiful excellent condition. Stock cover shows surface wear, edge wear and record impression and is graded in good condition. Seams are all intact. Spine print is all there with a 1/2" chip from record push. A small 1/4" piece in the upper left hand corner of the front cover is missing where a radio station sticker once was and was removed and some tiny radio station markings in ball point pen near the upper right hand corner area of the front cover as well. Again, this is a Warner Bros. stock cover and can easily be upgraded. Included are the very rare 24" x 12" "The Guardian of Stateside Steel Bands" lyric sheet and the even rarer 8 and 1/2" by 8 and 1/2" Warner Bros. radio and media promo sheet! (see pictures). I am the sole owner and acquired this from a radio station in Norfolk, Virginia sometime in the mid-70s. It has been in my collection ever since. These white label promo copies with both inserts were printed in extremely limited quantities and are now nearly impossible to find in any condition. Guaranteed 100% authentic and not a reproduction or reprint of any kind. Will be packaged securely for safe shipping with disc removed from cover and inserted in a separate generic card stock sleeve to prevent seam splits during shipping.
Please note shipping cost includes high quality secure packaging materials and insurance is included which usually adds $3-$5 depending on the value of the item but is worth every penny. Damaged or lost items by the USPS are rare but with insurance we're covered against both. Shipping on multiple items, as always, can be combined.
I try to grade as accurately as possible but due to the subjectivity of the process and everyone with different issue sensitivity I include lots of photos so the buyer is comfortable knowing that what they're getting is what is being described. As many of the items I sell are 50 years old or older normal storage wear should be expected. Also, I deal with a lot of items and occasionally a flaw will escape my attention but not often! My gradings tend to be more conservative than not. Per eBay policy, anything found by the buyer to be not as described should be messaged to me as soon as the items are received and I will address as prescribed and as expeditiously as possible. I always endeavor to make it right and I am available 24-7 for any questions or additional pictures and you will receive a prompt response.
