Polydor  2424.048,  1971 original issue, 1st pressing (Canada) Stereo

Heavy Canadian (Quebec) Prog from Vos Voisins (aka "Les Enzymes").....on their only solo long play.

This is the mega rare original issue "Allo Police" cover which was pulled from retailer shelves following threats of legal action from Montreal's similarly-named local news tabloid (the LP was quickly re-issued as Polydor 2424.147 with a completely different front cover).

* The band also backed Louise Forestier (on "Avec Enzymes"),  as well as Quebec satirist Yvon Deschamps on his live gigs / live albums.

Awesome organ-drenched hard prog laced with plenty of other influences....somewhere between early Uriah Heep and King Crimson.

Jacques Perron (piano, organ, synthesizer),  Pierre Ringuet (drums, percussion),  Andre Parenteau (bass) and future Ville Emard Blues Band member Serge Valieres (lead guitar).       Louise Forrestier also joins in,  returning the favour by providing some haunting (non-lyrical) vocals on the last track.
