RARE!!
"Vos Catu Monemus is comprised of three talented young people of the folk era. Namely Lynne Hulse, with a lusty and lovely contralto voice; Mark Blankner and Glenn Meade, each soloist in their own right.
The vocal blend and interpretation of their material is a joy to hear. Not only is all of their material on this album original, but their arrangements are beautifully tasteful.
Instrumentally speaking, Mark and Glenn handle both the six and twelve string guitars effectively and with feeling.
Last, but certainly not least, their religious songs are most inspriring and presented in a most enjoyable fashion.
Vos Cantu Monemus, to us, means three talented, versatile, artistic performers.." The preceding was quoted from the back cover of the album.
Song Titles include:
Railroad Song, Berwick Town, Barbarous, You IWill Never Deny, My Song, Never Said a Word, Unwritten Letters, Rich Man, Devil Run, I've Cried Once, Trees They Do Grow High, Deliver Me.
Apparently this group was brought together at the Bethany Beach Folk Festival. They blend well and are very mellow. This is a rare lp, much loved with special provenance .
The sleeve is autographed by all three artist..it states:
To Sheila
Glenn Meade

(There was a song about you)
Mark Blankner ...(with initials or something I can't quite make out)
and lastly Lynne Hulse's signature.
NOW as to the condition.
The jacket is worn, has ringwear and a slit in the upper seam.
The sleeve is autographed as mentioned above and has a slit on the left side and a slit on the bottom but clean otherwise..
The LP is scuffed with some spindlewear. I have played it on my lower end stereo, it played well with only a very occasional crackle or pop (actually kind of enhanced the experience). I have tried to be as negative as possible. I realize this is a very rare and sought after album.
