Description

This is the 1968 first album by the highly influential progressive rock band FAMILY: "music in a doll's house". It is an original on the classic "steamboat" Reprise label, cat # RLP 6312 MONO. The Mono issue of this LP is extremely rare. The cover is in Near Mint condition. The insert, featuring a photo of the band is present and also Near Mint, as is the original Reprise Inner Sleeve. The Vinyl itself is a shade better than Excellent but maybe not quite Near Mint. There are some light surface markings none of which sound. Please see pics below. All in all this is an extremely fine example of a very hard-to-get album by a highly respected band.

..And for those who love trivia, the BEATLES "WHITE ALBUM" was originally going to be called "A DOLL'S HOUSE" but the title was dropped when this album was released.
