Family 'Music In A Dolls House'.
  Original UK tri-colour steamboat Reprise label mono press LP, with the earliest A-3G matrices and mono flipback cover!
Music in a Doll's House was released in July 1968 and charted at number 35 in the UK thanks to strong support from John Peel. The album's highly original sound was characterised by Chapman's vocals, rooted in R&B combined with several unusual instruments for a rock band, courtesy of the multi-instrumentalists Grech and King, including saxophones, violin, cello and harmonica....   The Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and a few small laminate creases and some light laminate rubbing on the front cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in VG+ condition, no insert i'm afraid.   The record is in visually EX condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and a couple of light needle scuffs visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout, with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really clean, loud & clear listen!   The matrix nos. are; RSLP-6312, A-3G stamper G-1, B-3G stamper I-1. This is one of the very early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1968 UK mono issue of this album!
