VERMILLION RECORDS V1972W
This is an rare, original LP pressing of (Ray) Vernon Wray's WASTED. This is a private pressing press record, issued on his Vermillion label. This record has a very reasonable reserve.
This record was pressed in 1972 and sold from the bandstand at Vernon's gigs. At that time he was playing almost exclusively in Tucson Arizona. Believed to be under 1000 copies pressed. How many are left after 37 years?
WASTED features all the Wray brothers - Vernon, Link and Doug. Original Wrayman Shorty Horton also appears on one cut. Recorded at Copper State Sound and the famous Wray's Shack 3 Tracks (+5) which Ray moved to Arizona after laying down all the classic Link Wray cuts in Accokeek. Vernon expanded to 8 track recording, thus the (+5) tagline after the classic Wrays Shack 3 Tracks.
This record is in very nice shape for it's age. There is a 4 inch seam split at the top right side, and a 7 inch split at the bottom of the record jacket. Has cover wear and a corner ding or two.
Whoever had this originally took great care to preserve the vinyl. It has a few hairlines, but is in great shape. A solid VG+, perhaps VG++ to some.

All proceeds will go towards building the new website, hosting fees, etc.
Hey, if the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame won't honor Link, we might as well do it ourselves!
