All original inserts included. ****** Tape:m- / Cov:m- Box:vg ****** Coming for what remains of the Maurizio Bianchi archive i recently acquired from one of his contacts in the early 1980s. Offered here is probably the best Trax edition by M.B.'s friend and conspirator Lt. Murnau / Vittore Baroni. "Technodeath" is a box full of surprises and wonder! Conceived for Christmas 1981 and issued in edition of only 150 numbered copies. The rigid plastic box contais a C50 cassette (featuring M.B., Vittore Baroni, Bladder Flask, Mecanique Vegetale, Spirocheta Pergoli, Amok, John M. The B-side of the tape is an untitled montage created by Vittore Baroni and mixed by Piermario Ciano in the typical chaotic Trax style. Trax is a modular system with illuminated composition where the units generate trax (could be a performance, a fanzine, a tape, a concert, poem, t-shirt, video, postcard etc.). Variable modular system with unlimited solutions. Each Trax event or product was ideated and coordinated by a "Central Unit", with a variable number of participants called "Peripheral Units". Unit 01: Piermario Ciani (photograph, copy-artist); Unit 02: Vittore Baroni (journalist, mail-artist); Unit 03: Massimo Giacon (illustrator, musicist); Unit 04: Giancarlo Martina (teacher); and so on… An ultra rare piece of mail-art collaborative history!
