Description

Here we have a Mono copy of the Velvet Underground's manic, sprawling classic album White Light/White Heat on the black and silver Verve label. The cover is the sought after 'skull tattoo' version and is in good order with a little ring wear and minor crinkles. The spine is clearly legible and the triple flip-back rear sleeve also fine with minor grubbiness. The record is clean and plays through with the sound it's meant to have, Garage Noise from 1968. There is, however a jump about three quarters of the way through the flailing chaos that is Sister Ray but I can see no mark on the record to see why; perhaps there is a small piece of grit in the groove which is causing it. Try as I might, I can see no other reason for it, the disc looks in terrific shape. The dead wax matrices end in A1 and B1 which suggests a first pressing. Postage here is for normal First Class UK post but I'd recommend that it was sent Signed For. Selling for a friend, come and have a look at this beauty.
