On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Velvet Underground called "Velvet Underground" and is an ORIGINAL UK 1969 1st Pressing on the 1st Press MGM label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY THE VELVET UNDERGROUND'S RAREST UK LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT HAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MIX - COMPARED TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  AFTER THIS LP WAS RELEASED - PRODUCTION WAS QUICKLY HALTED (AS THE BAND WERENT HAPPY WITH THE MIX!) AND IT WAS THEN COMPLETELY CHANGED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  ONLY THE ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESSINGS FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1969 EVER HAD THIS ULTRA RARE 'DIFFERENT MIX' AND THEY ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST!)!!!!  AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOU ALMOST NEVER SEE ONE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS ULTRA RARE UK 1ST PRESSING HAS A FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER (LATER ONES DONT!), AND ALSO THE PICTURE ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER IS SPLIT HORIZONTALLY (ON LATER PRESSINGS THIS WAS CHANGED TO VERTICALLY)!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING ON THIS INCREDIBLE LP - THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!! 

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND THOUGH IT ISNT PERFECT (BASICALLY IT IS A BIT CREASED, AND THERES A FEW LINES ON THE VINYL) IT IS STILL VERY BRIGHT & SHINY, STILL PLAYS WELL, AND IS UNDOUBTEDLY A PRESENTABLE EXAMPLE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST UK VELVET UNDERGROUND LP EVER MADE!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS MGM LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' LABEL TEXT, 1ST PRESS 1G/1G MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS DIFFERENT MIX(!), 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL MGM UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is CS 8108 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press MGM label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, only some VERY minor wear around the centre holes, and a few spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall (though not PERFECT!) - and is still VERY bright & shiny and plays WELL!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep feelable scratches, only a few VERY light hairlines, only 3 or 4 slightly visible (but NON sounding!) scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, only a few brief surface sounds on the run on grooves, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - though this is lost WAY behind ALL but the VERY quietest parts of the music ONLY!!!!   MOST importantly the sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT 'wrecked') if not better - and is still VERY bright and shiny, and plays WELL!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition overall - and still a VERY solid presentable example!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), quite a few creases (though these are mainly VERY small and confined to the edges - and the cover is still VERY flat looking!), shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition overall with NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing, barely ANY yellowing, a few creases to the flipbacks, 1 TINY name (though this is one the black part of the cover - so 99% of people would never even notice it anyway!), and only a TINY 'touched in' but of wear toward the top left on the cover back (luckily this does NOT affect any text and is very VERY small indeed!)!!!!  The cover must grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is undoubtedly still a VERY solid & presentable example!!!!  THIS LP ALMOST NEVER COMES UP FOR SALE (AS A UK 1ST PRESSING WITH THE DIFFERENT MIX!) AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
