1st edition Stereo Pressing. Gatefold sleeve has the original intact Banana on the front and the back has the recalled projected photo of Eric Emerson's torso. Later copies have him airbrushed and finally removed completely. Also includes the original Verve company inner sleeve. The peelable banana is all there but it has creases, bends and has a tear between the banana and the stem. Half of the stem tip has also lost it's stick and is bent up. The gatefold is in good shape but there is some ring wear and rub marks around the edges. Please see the photos for condition. Vinyl is visually NM-/ VG+, lots of shine and only a couple of very light marks- nothing you can feel, and only visible under our bright grading lights. It plays well but there is some light background noise in the quieter lead ins and during the quieter moments (like "Femme Fatale"). Overall it's a great sounding copy. True originals in good shape are getting harder and harder to find!
