WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE UK I.B.C. UNRELEASED DOUBLE SIDED DEMO ACETATE PRESSING for GOLDIE AND THE GINGERBREADS from 1965, ORIGINAL UK UNRELEASED ACETATE PRESSING IN GREAT CONDITION !!!
WOW, this is a REAL FIND, a DOUBLE SIDED 1965 UNRELEASED, DEMO STUDIO ACETATE from GOLDIE AND THE GINGERBREADS, the track “SPORTING LIFE” was never released or heard before. This is the same track recorded by MICKEY FINN for his RARE 1965 single and since the producer for both bands was the same person - the one and only SHEL TALMY (who also produced THE WHO and THE KINKS), I presumed he demoed it with GOLDIE AND THE GINGERBREADS but did not release it and went for the MICKEY FINN version, and who knows SHEL TALMY HIMSELF could have cut this ACETATE in 1965 !!! The other side “PLEASE PLEASE” was the B side for GOLDIE AND THE GINGERBREADS 1965 single “SAILOR BOY” !!! Both sides are GREAT - MOD DANCERS with AMAZING HAMMOND ORGAN !!!

The ACETATE was pressed on I.B.C. SOUND RECORDING STUDIOS.
The condition of the ACETATE is in VG+ / VG++ condition (AMAZING CONDITION for this age acetate, light scuffs and marks only, plays great with only mild crackle as ACETATES tend to have) !!!
AFTER A FEW PROBLEMS ALL ITEMS OVER £20.00 WILL HAVE TO BE SENT REGISTERED / INSURED AT AN EXTRA COST OF £1.50 (UK), £5.20 (REST OF THE WORLD) NO EXCEPTIONS !!!
