We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

This rare 1966 album was devoted to Manfred Mann's British Invasion hits, Mann Made Hits was one of the great beat-rock albums of its era and has held up really well. Mann Made Hits opens up with the cheerful, infectious Mod poprocker "Pretty Flamingo" and quickly branches into the group's more R&B-focused work ("On No, Not My Baby," "Come Tomorrow," "There's No Living Without Your Loving"), their bluesier sides ("I'm Your Kingpin"), their folk-rock output ("John Hardy," "With God on Our Side," "If You Gotta Go, Go Now"), and their harder side ("Spirit Feel"), without missing their biggest beatrock hits ("Do Wah Diddy Didd," "Sha La La," "5-4-3-2-1"). This is about the best overview of the band there ever was, and one can also see the quandary EMI was in when they issued it -- having dropped the group in the wake of Paul Jones's departure for a solo career in 1966, presuming that the band's prospects were limited (while they held on to Jones), the front cover is labeled "Manfred Mann With Paul Jones." As it turned out, they were selling the band short, as the latter enjoyed three more years of hits, but this is still a killer farewell to the Paul Jones-era...

CONDITION: The cover: delicate and fragile, "EX" (excellent) to M- this British made original is nicely laminated and contains the old flipback seams = with no split seams, no bends. The album came from the collection of "Steve Miller" (re-Steve Miller Band) who's name in pen is on the back cover corner of flipback seam.
The vinyl: Very clean and shiny "EX" (excellent) looks very clean and plays great!
