Description
Tucky Buzzard - Untitled (1st LP) acetate Capitol US 1969?
Tucky Buzzard were basically The End following the departure of Colin Giffin and they recorded several LPs under that name moving from a psych/prog sound to a harder rock direction with the heavy involvement of Bill Wyman from the Rolling Stones who was credited with production on the released version of this LP.
This is a 2 sided 12" acetate of their first LP only released in the US and Italy at the time. The date on the label is 6/69 suggesting that is when it was cut, but I suppose it could be when the label was made, difficult to know and 6/69 would appear quite early given the final release date. Not sure if this features any different mixes or anything, so this is just being sold as a pre-release acetate of their first album. You can listen for yourself below
Condition wise, this looks really nice, but does play with some surface noise particularly at the starts of both sides and between tracks, but mostly plays very well and for an acetate, this is in exceptional condition. I would grade as VG- but listen for yourself to both sides in full below
Tracked postage within UK is £5.00, rest of the world is £20.
