Description

An original 1st QUAD press of Bells. Matrix A1/B2. Nice solid copy. Stampers 1H/1GD. The vinyl comes housed in an original EJ DAY quad cover. We also have the original inner sleeve. 
Vinyl (Ex) In really lovely condition having seen only light use. Surfaces retain a lot of the original lustre and there's just a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback or above. I've trialled many copies of TB and have to say MANY copies disappoint with a not quite clean enough delivery. I can recommend this Quad copy to any Quad fan - but also to any stand rig owner too...based on an unrivalled level of performance. Literally lovely and clean all the way through - the one thing that is so so hard to find and super critical. Were the pressings better quality, heavier pressed,...don't have the answers sorry. What I do have is the two lug-holes either side of my face and they are hearing something pretty damn impressive. I've not witnessed TB with a low noise-floor like this. It's like listening to TB for the 1st time. Highly recommended to all listeners alike.
Cover (Ex-) Given the vintage superbly preserved. Beautiful sheen and flat surfaces - very superficial vertical creas on right side of rear. Not much sign of ageing anywhere. Really unworn and very well cared for. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. Spine 100% intact. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing one side. No splits.
